Most Underrated Fashionista of 2012
Known for her signature pixie cut and occasional smile, you think Ginnifer Goodwin is the most underrated star on the red carpet.
She is never one to put a foot wrong and she doesn’t slavishly follow trends. In fact she’s started a few, so why doesn’t she get enough credit?
The actress kick-started the year in a hot pink Roksanda Ilincic frock (which I still swooned over 11 months on); she lit up the red carpet wearing a bold orange-hued Monique Lhuillier gown to the Met Gala; she took a risk in an unusual Vitor & Rolf dress; my favourite look from the LACMA 2012 Art + Film Gala honoring Ed
Ruscha and Stanley Kubrick was her Gucci ensemble ; and, she can do cutesy as well in Oscar de la Renta.
With this kind of track record, Vanity Fair should have added her to their Best Dressed List instead of… well… you know who.

A New Article for "Tory Burch" Fashion Fans! (Updates)
NEW YORK, United States — “There were a lot of people doubting what we were doing in the beginning,” Tory Burch, both creative director and chief executive of her eponymous fashion company, told BoF on the eve of her Spring/Summer 2013 show. “I’m an information gatherer, I like hearing what people feel and think, but at the end of the day, you have to believe in yourself and go with your instinct and gut.”
With neither traditional business school nor design school training, Burch and her well-honed instincts have built one of fashion’s hottest properties in just eight short years. Known for its American, bohemian-prep sportswear, her luxury lifestyle brand, stocked globally in 73 Tory Burch boutiques and over 1,000 department and specialty stores, is expected to make over $800 million in sales this year, according to market sources.
The brand’s chic, colourful designs are universally appealing — to fashion insiders, mall shoppers and, unsurprisingly, investors. Last year, Burch hired Barclays Capital to sell a minority stake in the company and while the closely-followed search continues, the company has reportedly conducted meetings with potential strategic partners like Coach and LVMH, as well as private equity firm The Carlyle Group.
A self-described tomboy, Burch grew up romping around a farm on Philadelphia’s Main Line with her three brothers. Although both of her parents were “always very fashionable,” it wasn’t until her senior year in high school that she became interested in fashion, she said. “The prom dress that my mom got me was this light pink sequin and navy tulle Yves Saint Laurent dress. It was a big statement for Philadelphia.”
Burch’s mother also inspired her first job after college, with Zoran, a designer known for his deluxe minimalism who dressed Isabella Rossellini and Lauren Hutton. “I cold-called Zoran,” Burch recalled. “Really interesting man and a beautiful designer. My mother wore his clothing. He said, ‘You can have a job, but you have to start in a week.’ So a week after I graduated, I moved to New York and started a full induction into fashion. It was a very interesting time. He looked like Rasputin and vodka would start at ten o’clock in the morning. That was my first job.”
Burch went on to work as a sittings assistant for Harper’s Bazaar, then moved into PR and advertising at Ralph Lauren, Vera Wang and Loewe during Narciso Rodriguez’s tenure. “Each of those experiences have added some element to how I run and build this company,” she recalled. “I talk to entrepreneurs a lot about how each job might not be the perfect job, but you really learn from each job and you take something from that.”
While formulating ideas for her own company, “I started to think what I was personally missing,” said Burch. “It was this idea of great American sportswear with a more global point of view. Pieces — like a great trench coat or a cigarette pant — that were well-priced. I thought there was an opening in the market between contemporary and designer.”
Armed with a vision of affordable luxury, Burch founded her label in 2004. “Against a lot of people’s advice,” she decided to launch her own store on day one, leasing space in the up-and-coming New York neighbourhood of Nolita. The strategy gave her total control over the customer experience, right from the start, and provided a powerful platform for brand storytelling. “You could see who we were immediately, just by walking into an environment that we could make look exactly how we wanted — everything from the branding to the candle burning to the music playing. It was really an experience and we wanted the customer to feel that from the beginning.”
It worked. By the end of its opening day, the original Tory Burch boutique at 257 Elizabeth Street had almost completely sold out of inventory.
Today, each of the brand’s stores is built around the idea of “creating a retail environment that feels like you are walking into a home,” Burch said. All feature orange lacquer doors, mirrored walls and Lucite fixtures, “but are different depending on where they are,” she continued. “The Meatpacking [district store in New York] is a little more industrial, whereas our Madison Avenue flagship is more of a townhouse — we wanted to think about what it might have looked like in the 1800’s, which is when it was built. Rome, we did in this ancient building [but the concept] was based on a Donald Judd sculpture, so it’s got very modern elements against very old architecture.”
By the end of the year, Burch will have opened some 25 new stores in 2012 alone, but each opening is “organic and strategic and well thought-out,” she said. “We look at the markets and we study who our customer is and then we wait for the right space to become available. We’re very patient. We want the right adjacencies, we want the right location and we study who’s buying our clothing. We track it on our e-commerce site and in our stores,” she said, in order to gauge consumer demand and help determine future expansion strategy. For example, Burch just signed a lease in Munich because “a lot of German women are buying our clothing. We can see that Brazilian women are buying our clothing in Miami and New York,” she continued, so the company opened two stores in São Paulo this year, with two additional Tory Burch stores expected to open in Brazil before the end of 2012.
But despite her company’s wide distribution, Burch still sees plenty of room for growth. “We see emerging markets as a wonderful opportunity,” she said, “whether it’s Indonesia, Brazil, Russia, India.” Burch plans to visit Brazil in October, followed by the Middle East in November. “We want to look at different places in the world and see how different women are dressing and responding to our collection.” Importantly, the brand adapts its product to fit local tastes and customs. “We make some longer things for the Middle East,” said Burch. “In Brazil, we made our bikinis a bit more skimpy.”
Planning retail expansion is only one of Burch’s many responsibilities at the helm of her brand. “I’m lucky that I can be the designer and the CEO,” she said. “It allows me to be creative, but also look at business in a creative way. It’s a lot of different things coming at me, every minute, every day,” she said, describing her typical workday. “I just got out of a design meeting for the handbags for our show and then I met with IT to talk about warehouse issues. It can be all-encompassing. It’s designing stores and working with our architect, Daniel Romualdez. It can be about product, the website, marketing. On every level, it’s so diverse, and that’s what I think makes it fresh and interesting and exciting.”
The appeal of her brand is just about as all-encompassing. “We definitely have a very diverse customer,” said Burch. “We have a lot of Europeans and Asian women. We have a lot of girls in high school and college, where it’s aspirational. But then we have a designer customer that’s wearing us, maybe to mix with her designer wardrobe. We have a downtown girl and an uptown girl. It’s a lot of different generations. And what I love about that is that they’re wearing it differently.”
Burch is also focused on the digital opportunity. “We want to be at the forefront of social media. I think it’s a very interesting way to have a conversation with your customer and get authentic feedback,” she said. “It’s not always positive, but we have to really listen.”
Authenticity is also key. “We started doing Twitter and I thought it was in the wrong way — it was more promotional. I realized Twitter has to be my voice, it has to be authentic and interesting. It shouldn’t be about something on sale. The customer is very savvy. They want authenticity. They’re not interested in hearing about promotional things.”
Integrating social media with commerce is her next big digital priority. “We look at online as our number one store. What’s exciting is that there isn’t really a cap. So I think the Internet and social media and tying in commerce with that is going to be very important in the future.”
Asked if she has any advice for aspiring entrepreneurs and designers, Burch replied: “Definitely do it if your idea is unique and different. It has to be different. And you have to be prepared for a lot of hard work. Nothing that is successful comes without hard work.”
As for the company she has built, the search for a new investor continues, though the process has been complicated by tensions between Burch and her ex-husband and former business partner, Chris Burch, who was forced to step down as co-chair of the company’s board earlier this year, but still owns a sizeable portion of the brand and has launched a competitor called C. Wonder that, in many ways, mirrors Tory Burch’s bohemian-prep style.
Back in 2009, the designer sold a minority stake in her brand to the Mexican private investment firm Tresalia Capital in order to help fuel global growth. “It was a lot of soul-searching, looking at where we both see ourselves ten years from now, making sure that our vision is aligned and that we have the same ideas about culture and the way we run our business.”
“It’s good to be patient,” she continued. “It’s good to really make sure that you’re doing something that is good not only for the future of the company but also the employees as well. So it has to be a process and it’s not a quick one. Every decision we make is about the long-term and about how it will affect the brand five, ten years from now.”

Love It or Leave It
Emma Watson Wears Pants — With Her Dress
We saw it coming on the runways this Spring, but Emma Watson just took the dress-over-pants trend for a real-life test-drive at the London screening of her new film, The Perks of Being a Wallflower. A wallflower she certainly is not, as Emma embraced the bold take on layering in a Christian Dior Couture look — a strapless fit-and-flare cocktail dress and a pair of straight-leg black trousers. Sure, the pieces on their own are all classics — right down to her pointed-toe pumps, but together, they become something a little more fashion-forward. Now we want to know, are they better together or would you have liked to see Emma just pick one?

Hollister Models Make fun of Asian Looks...again!
It looks like Hollister has a new problem on its hands. And, no, it's not another case of bed bugs or people getting lost in their dimly lit stores. This time, the mass retailer is facing racial discrimination accusations from their recently opened South Korea outpost.
For the grand opening of the first Hollister store in Korea in Yeouido, models dressed as lifeguards were flown in to take photos with customers -- you know, the same drill we get stateside. Something we don't see during the store openings here in the states? Models flipping their middle finger and mocking the customers. Lee Hyung-Ju described the offensive actions on the English Korean news site koreaBANG:
To make matters worse, it was discovered that a third model had flashed his middle finger during the photo session at the store opening and went on to post his own mocking photos on Twitter, according to koreaBANG. Local papers have been covering the controversy, and Korean customers have started to threaten boycotts. Hollister was quick to respond with an apology on their Facebook page:

"Images of models making 'squinty eyes' faces, flipping their middle finger to photographers, and mocking Asian pronunciation of English appeared on their Twitter accounts."Hollister had brought in four models for the marketing event that lasted from August 30 until September 2, according to koreaBANG. But, customers soon discovered that a couple of the models had posted offensive pictures to their Twitter accounts. One photo features a Hollister model standing in front of Gyeongbokkung Palace, squinting his eyes and making peace signs with his fingers. When one commenter remarked on how many Asians had liked the photo, he responded, "Hahahaha they ruhhvvvv itttt!"

"In summary, the company terminated the couple of associates involved. On behalf of our more than 80,000 associates around the world who cherish our core values and our culture of diversity and inclusion, we sincerely apologize for the offense caused by these unauthorized, ill-considered actions."What do you make of this controversy? Would you boycott Hollister for something like this?

Carina Lau In Alexander McQueen – 2012 Bazaar Charity Night
Carina Lau joined Zhang Ziyi on the red carpet for the 2012 Bazaar Charity Night held in Beijing, China, on Saturday evening.
The beautiful actress, known for her love of colour, wore an all black Alexander McQueen look.
We didn’t see nearly enough of the McQueen Spring 2012 collection on the red carpet, so I’m glad Carina decided to wear this embellished silk chiffon and lace gown on this occasion.
The exquisite gown with a skirt which cascades into a beautiful sheer train was styled with a black McQueen clutch, with a gold frame and skull clasp, gold earrings, an elaborate gold cuff and Jimmy Choo heels.
Wisely opting to make this look all about the gown, she kept her makeup very simple, applying a glossy lip colour and sweeping her hair back into a simple bun.
As usual, Carina always delivers on the red carpet.

Top then fashion brands online and why
Fashion has been notoriously slow to take to the online world (particularly on the editorial side), but some brands are really getting it right. A smart digital strategy can translate to brand awareness, and ultimately, lots of sales.
L2‘s Digital IQ Index took this concept to the next level and released its third annual report card assessing brands’ “digital IQ.” The ratings they give range from Genius to Feeble. Digital strategy is often uneven, and this can hurt a brand. Per the report: “Although 94 percent of brands in the Index have a presence on Facebook, one in five brands still lacks e-commerce capability.” How annoying is it to try to buy something online, only to discover you actually have to leave your home? That kind of thing really matters to consumers these days.
So who’s excelling online and who needs a lot of help? Here’s the top ten list:
1. Burberry
2. Kate Spade
3. Coach (tie)
3. Gucci (tie)
5. Dolce & Gabbana (tie)
5. Tory Burch (tie)
7. Ralph Lauren
8. Hugo Boss (tie)
9. Louis Vuitton (tie)
10. Michael Kors
Number one this year is Burberry, given a Genius rating. Their Burberry Body Facebook campaign, which ultimately helped earn them over 8.6 million Facebook fans, is cited as one of the success stories; live tweeting their spring 2012 show before the looks hit the runway was another. Per the report: “Digital births an icon: Proof that digital investments translate to shareholder value.” If you need further proof of this, WWD reports today that Burberry has had a 29.5% increase in sales.
In second place is an upstart “newcomer,” Kate Spade. Being an “iconic” heritage brand automatically gives you an advantage, but Kate Spade proved it isn’t necessary. They were given a Genius rating, on the strength of their Facebook online store (dubbed “F-commerce”) and being one of the first brands to hit Tumblr. Same for Tory Burch, whose Facebook store is exemplary.
Coach and Gucci hung on to their Genius ratings, and Dolce & Gabbana got a Gifted, thanks to their website relaunch. Ralph Lauren’s iPad New York Times “take-over” was lauded, as was Louis Vuitton’s domination of Foursquare. Donna Karan has @DKNY PR girl to thank for the company’s Gifted rating, citing her Gossip Girl updates and new-ish Tumblr presence.
So which brands need help? L2 gave Challenged grades to both Prada and Hermés, two brands who should be killing it online because their name recognition is so strong. Both were listed as Gifted in 2009, but lost their rating. Scott Galloway, the founder of L2 said in the report, “We believe these brands are victims of their own success, believing iconic status can be a substitute for innovation and investment online. This hubris will haunt them, and their shareholders.” Yikes. Ditto Chanel and Christian Dior, who were given Average ratings. The issue there? Lack of e-commerce, except in beauty.
The take home message? Sell online and be creative while you do it.

Nail Art for Grown-Ups...find new do-able looks with the link!
Matte
To achieve this look, all you have to do is apply three coats of OPI "You Don't Know Jacques Matte," pictured here, or any other polish from the OPI matte collection. For this manicure, using a top coat would ruin the matte look and make your nails look shiny. You can, however, use a matte top coat, which can also be found at OPI.

Ombré mani
Choose five polishes that are similar in color but vary in saturation — similar to how a paint swatch looks. Listed from thumb to pinky, the polishes are OPI "Step Right Up," Essie "Fiji," Essie "Raise Awareness," China Glaze "Dance Baby," and OPI "Shorts Story."

Confetti nails
Start with an opaque, pigmented pastel (pictured here is Essie "Navigate Her"). Add one layer of a chunky multi-colored glitter (pictured here is Milani "Gems"). Top with one of two coats of a sheer milky polish (OPI "So Many Clowns...So Little Time"). This manicure will take a bit longer to dry because of all the layers.

8 Tips on How to avoid the fast fashion frenzy and not spend a ton on clothes...
Elizabeth Cline’s Overdressed has taught us some hard lessons about our fast fashion habits: Namely that buying super cheap clothes–and lots of them–is having a negative effect on our planet, our culture, and our general well-being. But it’s also having a negative impact on our wardrobe.
“The thing about cheap fashion is that you often wind up with a closet full of deals rather than a closet full of clothing you’ll actually wear,” Cline told me. Most of us who shop fast fashion can probably relate. Somehow, that H&M blouse that was so irresistible in-store, just doesn’t hold up when you pull it out of the depths of your closet two years later.
But while Cline makes a convincing argument for not shopping at cheap-chic stores, it’s hard to know what other options you have if, like us, you love fashion but don’t exactly have a thousand-dollar budget. Fortunately, Cline has some helpful advice on that matter.
“Overdressed is about reigning in out-of-control consumption,” Cline said. “It’s not trying to make people feel bad for buying clothes that they can afford.” In other words, the book is really about finding solutions to our shopping addictions. “And luckily,” Cline said. “There’s not just one solution.”
Read on for Cline’s top tips on how you can stem your clothing consumption and still build the wardrobe of your dreams.

Ballet Slipper is the most popular wedding nail color to hit the beauty market!
Wedding nail polishes are as personal as the brides themselves, naturally, but
one color manages to endure: Essie's Ballet Slippers. This pale
pink shade flatters almost everyone, and it remains a big hit with brides. Even
Ashley Hebert, the Bachelorette star who found
love with JP Rosenbaum on the show, says that she's planning to
wear Ballet Slippers at her wedding. So what is it about this color? We went
straight to the source: Essie Weingarten herself.
"As a young girl, I was simply devoted to ballet," she told us, "and as an
adult, I harbored a deep nostalgia for the ideal femininity of pink ballet
slippers. I really thought I'd become a prima ballerina one day—who knew I'd end
up in the nail polish business? The staggering popularity of this shade is a
testament to the fact that dreams do come true.”
So there you have it, ladies.

Elderly mom
Contribution by Stevie Kirby
My mom has lived alone the past few years. Lately we have been noticing that she is starting to be more forgetful. She tells the same stories over and over. Each time she tells a story the details change until the story is not even recognizable as the original story. One day I was at her house and a neighbor was over visiting. She started telling a story that she was remembering as something that I did. But in fact the story that she was telling actually happened to a friend of mine a few years ago. I just had to give the neighbor a shake of my head and a wink to let her know that it did not happen to me. She completely understood. So my husband and I decided that it was time for my mom to move in with us. Before we moved her in, we decided to get a security system from security choice. I am pretty sure that my mom is in the early stages of Alzheimer’s. I didn’t want her to be the next face on the news as a missing person. So with a security system, at least I could be alerted if she opened a door to go out of the house. So she will live with us until we can’t take care of her anymore. Right now I don’t want to think about that.

Business in the Big Apple
Posted by Arden Wallace
My best friend and I started a small gift basket business in the basement of my house in New York. The business has started to get really big, and we felt that we needed to find a place that we could move to that would give us enough room to accommodate our growing business. We found a warehouse facility not too far away from where I live. We didn’t really need a place that big so the owner agreed to rent us just a portion of the building which was plenty big for our needs. We had to hire a few more people to help keep up with all the orders. We also had to get our website updated and more user friendly. We ended up getting a new york T1 line for our telephone and internet needs. That way we could start out small, and when we needed more phone lines everything would already be in place. I really never dreamed that my small idea for a gift basket business would actually grow into something so profitable. But you never know until you try.

The Ideal Woman Accidentally Looks Like Faith Hill
Angelina Jolie is out, Taylor Swift is in. Marie Claire Australia made one of those charming facial mashups, where they take all of the most coveted features of the moment and mold them into one celebrity Frankenstein. This heavenly creature features Taylor Swift’s hair, Natalie Portman’s nose, Scarlett Johansson’s lips, Halle Berry’s jaw, January Jones’ cheeks and Anne Hathaway’s eyes. All that work, and I must say, she comes out looking eerily similar to Faith Hill. Am I right? I wonder if Faith’s pissed that she didn’t get a mention. [Beek Week Ever]

ZGalleries New Arrival Furniture and Art Works are "Haute" and inspiring "Chic!"
I thought I'd never use the word "haute" when describing furniture however, just by looking at these great designs makes me wonder where they've been all of my life? There are so many options to choose from and of course, making a great excuse like: renovations or re-arrangements can give me all of the head-way needed to scoop up some awesome buys that will deliver the ultimate in iconic class and "chic." I know where I'd fit each piece of tailored, fashion-furniture with a coveting lust for more!
I could engage hours upon hours of looking through the hundreds of options given to decorate and restore the inner-diva to any home or apartment, with instant and sustainable results in maximum pleasure from all of the creature comforts intact! Finding chic furniture like: "Brighton Sofas" and "Brighton Chairs" can certainly pull-together a room for all time sake, while finding awesome ways to add dimension and contrast. Beautiful things like the "Royce Chair" and the "Francesca Headboard" are other ways of sending out an invitation to reveal inner-diva deliciousness and quality mass appeal to myself!
Just imagine all sorts of decorative accessories like the piece of art that makes a style collision straight into dreamlike festivity. In the [new arrival catagory], the "Sprial Staircase" triptych-print framed photography piece is done well by featured artist Sofia Fox; and is an unforgettable photograph to display (in home or apartment)! It would look stunning next to some of the patterned pillows and furniture looks of ZGalleries described above!
Remember, with this type of affordable furniture; a little goes a long way!

Moving woes
Thanks for the post from Barney Crosby
My husband said he really stumbled on Satellite Internet Cullman providers before we moved to our new house. He was just Googleing different things we could do near the new house. Mostly, he was looking for activities the kids would like. They have not been excited about the move all this time. We told them about it a good bit in advance. We did not want them to be surprised. We thought they could use time to get used to the idea and to have some time with their friends. It never failed that whenever we would talk about moving, the two would throw a fit. One time, Jenny, our youngest, threw her fork down so hard on her plate that it broke while we were having dinner. My husband sent her to her room, of course. I went up after dinner to find her sobbing in her pillow. She was convinced she would not make friends in the new town and that she would forever be unhappy. I tried to explain to her that that was really silly, but she would not listen. My husband compiled a list of things to do in the town and once he found all the Internet information, I think he convinced the girls that they were not going to die at least.

The Thoughts of a Fashion Genius....Karl Lagerfeld...
Karl Lagerfeld took time out of his jam-packed schedule to guest-edit Paris’ Metro paper today, and the shit he says in his interview with the free daily is worthy of its own viral video–and that’s not necessarily a good thing.
The Kaiser sounds off on everything from why Obama should get re-elected (hint: it has to do with Mrs. Obama), to wanting to be a Russian lesbian to Adele’s weight. He’s sure to ruffle more than a few feathers with these gems.
Click through for highlights.
On Lana Del Rey, Adele and Florence Welch:
I prefer Adele and Florence Welch. But as a modern singer she is not bad. The thing at the moment is Adele. She is a little too fat, but she has a beautiful face and a divine voice. Lana del Rey is not bad at all. She looks very much like a modern-time singer. In her photos she is beautiful. Is she a construct with all her implants? She’s not alone with implants. On Russian women:
If I was a woman in Russia I would be a lesbian, as the men are very ugly. There are a few handsome ones, like Naomi Campbell’s boyfriend, but there you see the most beautiful women and the most horrible men.On Obama’s re-election:
Yes he does [deserve to be re-elected], especially because of Mrs. Obama. I’m a big fan of Mrs. Obama – and her face, I think, is magical. He would not be there without her. Mrs. Obama is not a fashion statement, but she has other things to do. My favorite thing about Mrs. Obama was when she was asked if her skirt was not too tight and she answered “Why you don’t like my big black ass?” [Ed. note: Did Mrs. O. ever actually say this?] I want [Barack] Obama to win because there is nothing better anyway, and especially because of her.On the Greek economic crisis:
Greece needs to work on a cleaner image. It’s a big problem, as [Greeks] have this reputation of being so corrupt. You can’t be sure the money will go where it’s supposed to go. They need to build trust, and that takes time too. Nobody wants Greece to disappear, but they have really disgusting habits – Italy as well.On never voting:
I never voted in my life. I will never vote. I know too much about politics from what’s going on backstage. To vote you have to believe all that garbage that they promise you, and they can’t keep those promises. If someone gave me an Obama pin, I would just put it on.On M.I.A. giving the finger at the Super Bowl:
Nowadays people give the middle finger quite quickly – it’s not the best behavior. Everybody does that, what’s new about that? It’s just become a bad habit.Non-sensical thought on magazines:
People in magazines are 50% bimbo and 50% pregnant women.

February Vogue looks good with Taylor Swift on the cover!
Magazines were slightly shier about putting Taylor Swift on their covers last year after she turned out to be the worst-selling cover girl of 2010. But hey, New Year, new chances! Swift's February Vogue cover, shot by Mario Testino, surfaced on The Fashion Spot this past weekend. Both Swift and Adele were rumored for Vogue's March cover (traditionally a much meatier issue than February, content- and ads-wise), so this ups the stakes for Adele getting that one.

The Question of Wearing Fur
Is it Beautiful, Covetable, Acceptable or Unethical?
Should the fashion industry hang its head in shame due to the way many, are not only buying more fur but seeing it on models and other pedestrians and coveting it to the core? If you haven’t noticed, fur is not something to fear wearing anymore. In the streets of London (UK) it has made a tolerated comeback and taking center stage. Even decent, normal women who are prestigious are wearing this once sworn at luxury, so what? Have animal rights groups failed in bringing home the message that the practice of taking fur from undisturbed animal nature a vicious attack that leads to untold myriads of other indecent and obscene inhumane behavior? Does taking the precious and valuable fur coats off of wandering animal life an act of intense violence or another way to make a living in the fashion industry? How come so many individuals love rabbit fur and all other kinds of fur inside or out of a designer coat? Can animal rights prevail in this constant battle between the masses of fur traders and animal lovers? How can they stop the carnage and assaults that make humanity fear animal life could be destroyed over our pitiless love of expensive fur coats, fur vests, fur jackets and other accessories? Is there going to be a time when life goes on without the trimmings of beautiful fur coats, fur jackets for sale, hats and other things necessary to stay warm in winter and look great?
Due to the absolute love of fur and the fashion industries hatred of animal cruelty, yes, animals are being protected but naturally they are always going to be wanted for their fur whether it is cruel or not! Fur is back and many furriers really know how to catch these adorable creatures for their locks of valuable fur. Many will be protected but the reason why there is such a plea to stop this is because fur (by design) has a way to interlope itself into what others describe as "luxury" and "haute couture" or "high-end" fashion wear. Therefore, some if not all pursuers of this most comfortable luxury will fail at not being protective and let their indulges escape them, putting major strain on the population of furry animals (of the world and nature) while causing complete carnage and violence to heighten and remain a focal point in the business of fur trading. If these facts are creating a frenzy to stop what is already in motion with a concern that won't outlast what is being captured, then we may as well have what it is (fashion) we are looking for and throw caution to the wind! Or, maybe we should have a talk with our local furrier to help choose how artificial fur can be made while developing various textiles of valuable class for it, instead of continually man slaughtering the animal kingdom for our fashion tastes, whims and conceit!
Hope E

Huge new home
Thanks to Lemuel Craft
My husband and I just bought a fabulous new home. I honestly think I could be on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta”. It is that wonderful. My husband recently got promoted to CEO of the company and it has a lot of perks, including the new pay raise. The house is stunning. The pool in the backyard is amazing. I have never seen a pool that beautiful, but still very fun. We found a state-on-the-art ATL home security system to install. It just makes the house that much better. We are able to see our front door through a camera. This allows us to actually see who is ringing the bell. We are also able to control everything in the house through one touch screen panel. It is amazing what modern technology can do. I can’t wait to throw my first party and show off the house. I am sure that sounds very superficial of me, but at least I am being honest. Hopefully my need to show it off will wear off and I won’t come off as a creep, but right now I am just so excited.
