Louis Vuitton opened its first store in the Lebanese capital Beirut.
"For many years, the maison has maintained strong relations with Lebanese clientele and is proud to reiterate its engagement by offering a new store which respects the Beirutis' heritage and patrimony," said a spokesperson for the French luxury label.
A city that has produced the likes of Elie Saab, Basil Soda and Reem Acra is no stranger to high fashion, further evidenced by the presence of Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri at the event.
